Trasher’s Day out in the Sun
It was a nice Fall day today in the afternoon once the clouds went away and the sky cleared up. I decided that Trasher needed some ‘air’ time out of the mews and set her up out in the perch. She did her usual puff-out, shake-out, and then the occaisional bate off the perch to stretch some wing muscles. A little later, she apparently decided to get some sun and took a spot in the grass, fully spread out. I crept up to her slowly, taking pictures as I went, not knowing how long she was going to stay like that. I was able to get about 10 feet from her before she stirred. I was completely surprised by this and enjoyed seeing her do something different. Hawk watching is amazing!
